Regional Cost-Sharing 

To mitigate rain-event flooding in a part of Hoboken, NJ that was marshland into the late 19th century, the City of Hoboken and the region’s North Hudson Sewerage Authority are sharing the cost of upgrading portions of the sewers, roadways, curbs, and sidewalks in the area of 9th and Madison Streets in Northwest Hoboken. City’s share: $2.5M; Regional share: $3M.
